The Nutrition Network is an education and learning platform, designed to present the most up-to-date and evidenced-based science and research available, in the field of low-carbohydrate, healthy high fat nutrition (LCHF). Having hosted the world’s first LCHF/Banting/Keto Professional’s training conference in February, with great success, the Nutrition Network is taking another bold step by launching an online training course: “Professional Training in LCHF/Keto Nutrition & treatment” for medical and allied health care professionals. The course will be officially launched at “Breakfast with Prof Noakes” on Thursday 26th, April, between 7.30-9.30am at Cape Town’s Vineyard Hotel.
The online training is the first of its kind and is presented by national and international medical and allied health care experts in their field, on a range of topics related to LCHF nutrition and its implementation into clinical practice. Speaker line up includes world renowned experts: Prof Tim Noakes, Dr Jason Fung, Dr Ann Childers & Dr Hassina Kajee. Topics include: diabetes & obesity; insulin resistance; statins & cardiovascular disease; and mental health. The course is presented as a series of online, self-study and learning modules and has been developed specifically for medical practitioners, dieticians, nutritionists & LCHF/Wellness/Mind Body coaches.
In collaboration with the launch of the online training, the Nutrition Network is kicking off it’s monthly “Breakfast with Prof Noakes” clinical forums. The forums will be held on the last Thursday of the month and provide an exclusive opportunity for doctors, nurses and allied health practitioners to attend a clinical presentation with Prof Noakes and other LCHF experts, in relation to the latest evidenced-based LCHF research, followed by clinical discussion and networking with like-minded medical practitioners.
Booking is essential, for more information please email info@nutrition-network.org
