The Health Professions Council of South Africa hearing against Professor Noakes adjourned on Wednesday. The latest installment went very well with Prof’s three expert witnesses delivering compelling testimony in favour of the Low Carb High Fat lifestyle.

No decision has been reached and the hearing has been adjourned until April 2017.

• Closing arguments are to be presented on 4 & 5 April 2017
• The committee will deliberate on 6 & 7 April 2017
• Final judgment will be delivered on 21 April 2017 where Professor Noakes will either be found guilty or not guilty of providing unconventional advice on Twitter

Professor Noakes, his family and his team look forward to the end of what has been a very draining and expensive ordeal, but  are confident that they have provided sufficient evidence of the benefits and safety of LCHF.

An article released on Media 24 stating that Professor Noakes has been found guilty is incorrect and the Foundation and their lawyers are investigating the matter.
