The Noakes Foundation is looking for a highly organised, proactive and resourceful Project Coordinator to support the delivery of our nonprofit programmes and projects, including Eat Better South Africa, research translation, community education and selected new Foundation initiatives.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is excellent at turning ideas into action, coordinating multiple moving parts and ensuring projects are delivered effectively and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate projects from planning through to implementation, including plans, timelines, tasks and deliverables.
- Liaise with team members, partners, contractors and service providers, and proactively follow up on actions and deadlines.
- Support the setup, administration and management of digital platforms and systems, including learning management systems.
- Coordinate programme and educational content, materials and digital resources.
- Organise project information and documentation, and help establish practical systems and processes.
- Support the development and delivery of programmes, events and new initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant stakeholders, partners and collaborators.
- Support fundraising, partnerships, project reporting and related activities as required.
- Identify problems, risks and gaps and help find practical solutions.
- Undertake other reasonable duties aligned with the role and TNF’s evolving priorities as required.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in project coordination, programme delivery, operations or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Support the administration of digital platforms used to deliver TNF programmes, resources and events
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and confidently work with digital tools and processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and follow work through to completion.
Advantageous
- Experience in education, health, research or the non-profit sector.
- Experience with online learning, training programmes or digital content.
- Experience supporting new programme or project launches.
- Experience with fundraising, partnerships or events.
