Bon Voyage Karen Thomson!

The Noakes Foundation wishes bon voyage to a dear friend and valued LCHF advocate, Karen Thomson, as she begins a new exciting adventure in the United States. Karen is the founder of The Sugar-Free Revolution – an online program and blog designed to be a support network and program for those trying to kick a sugar or carbohydrate addiction. Since 2014 the forum, Facebook page and blog has offered guidance and support to those who wish to live a sustainable sugar-free life, and has been a great resource for the Foundation to refer people to.

Since launching The Sugar Free Revolution, Karen has also written a book “Sugar Free: 8 Weeks to Freedom from Sugar and Carb Addiction”, and, together with Prof Tim Noakes, has launched and hosted The First International LCHF Health Summit, and has been a valuable advisor in all of The Noakes Foundation’s events over the past two years.

Jayne Bullen, the Foundation manager : “Karen is quite simply the most incredible and passionate human being. Her energy, passion, support and fierce belief in Prof Noakes has been immeasurable to The Noakes Foundation these past two years. Karen is one of the most important leaders in the local and global low carb and sugar-free movements. Her incredible ideas, passion for collaboration and her network of friends around the world working together are changing the future and she truly is a voice of the revolution.

I am going to miss having her near, but know that big new things are to come in the many projects we have and will continue to collaborate on as she steps onto the world stage and more than likely shakes up America with her passion for all things honest, healthy and amazing.

I would like to personally thank Karen for her open-hearted support she has offered The Noakes Foundation and me personally over the last year which has been a challenging one.”

The Foundation wishes her all the best for her new adventure.
